Graduation!

I DID IT!! Graduation finally came (June 9th) and now I wish it wasn't over! My best friend and cousin, Marinne, and i drove to the Thomas and Mack together dressed in our cap and gowns, and we felt like we were on Laguna Beach or something lol - it was soo surreal! Once I got to the T&M I was so excited and nervous for my valedictorian speech. Everything happened so fast! All went well though, and it was such a good time. Shout out to the Panther's of '09!!

I received the BEST birthday present from Nick and Sierra on my big 18!! Im going to finally be an aunt! I was so excited I couldn't believe it. After going to the first OBGYN appointment with Sierra, I had an inclination that it was going to be a boy even though it was still too soon to tell but ... I was RIGHT!! A new baby will be born to the Thomas clan October 27th, and we couldn't be happier! This little baby already has his first pair of kicks and some adorable clothes! Grandma especially is so anxious to be able to spoil this little shnugga. Still lots to do though to help out Sierra and Nick with preparations (like what to name him? ahhh!!), but anything baby related is enjoyable so we have NO complaints!

Sadies '08!!

Sadies this year was a totally new experience for me! I was put in charge of the whole thing!! From planning dinner, activities, and transportation, I was a busy girl in the last couple weeks before Sadies ... plus, my parents were going to be out of town! Anyways, I asked a boy named Robert who goes to Bonanza. Half of the girls in my group asked boys from Bonanza even though we all went to Palo. The girls in my groups were Brynn Hewitt, Ari Loerwald, Nov, Elise Dondero, Calli Soresman, Marinne Parker, Laurel Bulloch, Ally Haire, and Kate. We ended up eating at Rainforest cafe, doing a scavenger hunt at Ceasars, and then returning to my house for board games, dessert, and movies. Only two hectic things happened that night - first I told the party bus driver the wrong hotel to go to for our dinner reservation! and then the part bus had scheduled us for 3 hours shorter then we had reserved it for so I was on the phone like crazy, along with my sister Sierra who called and got the job done :). But overall it was a great night, full of lots of memories!
